All are welcome to join us for Bible study and community. We use a variety of curriculums through RightNow Media and DVD studies. There is no homework, and you may attend as you are able. Led by Dave Vander Werff, Gerrad Clausen.

The Gathering

We are starting something new for women at Meredith Drive Reformed Church! The Gathering offers a chance for women come together for video-led teaching, break out into smaller discussion groups, and connect in a safe setting.  Any woman in the church and community is welcome to attend as they are able. During the Fall we will study Jo Saxton’s The Dream of You. Runs for 6 weeks (excluding Thanksgiving week). Led by Kristi Westre and Angie Dicken.

Participants will learn:

•Risk factors and warning signs of mental health and substance use problems.

•Information on depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis and substance use.

•A 5-step action plan to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or in crisis.

•About available evidence-based professional, peer, and self-help resources.


The cost is $20/person to cover the training book for each attendee. If this cost provides a barrier for you, or if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Sara Gregory at class is taught by Jean Holthaus (LISW, MSW) a therapist and clinic manager at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health services and a member of MDRC. You must attend both training times to become certified.

The Bridge campus

We invite you to participate in an exciting journey to learn a new language- American Sign Language! These classes are structured for beginners and will involve interactive sessions taught by ASL instructor Sherry Long.This class is for individuals 13 years old through adults. The cost of the class is $10. Book must be purchased by participant- Barron’s EZ American Sign Language. Available through Amazon or Barnes and Noble- cost is under $20.00 and you do not need it until week 3 of class.
