A typical day includes:

• Arrival time - check in and social time with friends.
• Large group opening - teacher-directed time including weather, calendar, sharing, music, poems and theme content.
• Small group time - a time to work on a project, work on skills and play in a small group setting.
• Gym time - includes a variety of activities such as large motor equipment, ball skills, scooters, parachute, movement and group games.
• Snack time - an important social time with snacks provided by the class.
• Closing time - includes a story and wrap up of the day.

Meredith Drive Preschool also offers special visitors, centers of play (science, math, music, writing, listening, literature, creative arts, dramatic play, blocks, cooking, etc.) and many opportunities for parent involvement.
