• Two new marriage strengthening opportunities are available

in May, June & July

The first opportunity is May 9 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. when Dr. Gary & Barb Rosberg will conduct one of their "Date with a Purpose" events, "How to Date Your Spouse," featuring discussion and practical ideas/ways to bring dating back into your marriage to enrich your relationship.

 (Note:  This is a change from the original focus of conflict resolution.)

 The Rosbergs have offered three marriage strengthening evenings in the Des Moines area from the fall of 2007 to May 2008 and Meredith Drive Reformed Church is hosting the final evening at the Bridge campus.  Each event is uniquely focused.  You need not have attended either of the previous evenings to benefit from the May 9 evening.  This is an opportunity to discover ways to discuss and resolve things about which you disagree . . . and, to quote Gary and Barb, "actually have fun discussing and resolving!"

The second opportunity is a 7-week program teaching valuable marriage skills, which will occur from 6 to 8 p.m. Sundays at the Bridge Campus from June 1 thru July 20.

The Marriage Course includes large group video time and couple time alone in discussion.  The topics covered are: 

• Building strong foundations
• The art of communication
• Love in action
• Resolving conflict
• The power of forgiveness
• Parents an in-laws
• Good sex
