Grace and peace in Jesus Christ! In the Spring of 1974, I entered the doors of Meredith Drive Reformed Church with an eager heart and a small vocabulary in hand rhythmically receiving the love of Christ and God's Word through Preschool, Sunday School, Children's Choir, Confirmation class, and Vacation Bible School. I attended Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa in the fall of 1992 and began the journey toward ministry. In the fall of 1993 I met my husband Shane, and we were married at MDRC in 1997.

I began my seminary journey in 1998 and graduated from Western Theological Seminary in 2003. Coupled with my studies at seminary I served as a Chaplain at Hope College for three years, leading chapel services, discipling, and offering pastoral care to college students.

My prayer is to be like the person the psalmist describes in chapter 1, "Blessed is the person whose delight is in God's law and on his law they meditate day and night. They are like a tree firmly planted by streams of water which yields it's fruit in season." My passion is to help grow more trees which yield good fruit to the glory of Jesus Christ!

Join me as we together explore various areas of Adult Discipleship: Small Groups, SHAPE (Spiritual Gifts), Sunday School, Disciple Bible Study, and The Gathering (a community of 20s and 30s).  I would love to help get you connected to the Body of Christ at Meredith Drive!

My husband Shane is a licensced therapist at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health.  We give God thanks for the gifts of our three sons: Samuel (10.7.02), Will and Owen (3.10.06).
