   I'm privileged to be involved in the Senior Adult ministry at MDRC.

   In doing so, I'm doing Bible studies, trips, and pastoral care with

   this very special group of people. Having been an RCA pastor

   since ordination in 1956, you can see that the Senior Adults are 

   very much my peers and contemporaries. I've lived and ministered

   in the Des Moines area since 1968, and am a graduate of Hope

   College and Western Seminary, both in Holland, Michigan.  I've

   been widowed since 2002, and am the father of three children

   and four grandchildren.
