About

The vision of Student Ministries at MDRC is lifelong discipleship that reflects Christ.  To attain this Vision we focus on our Mission: to Love God and neighbor as Christ commanded, to Grow in knowledge of God and self, to Worship in Spirit and truth, and to Go and make disciples as Christ commissioned.

Sunday Morning

Meredith Drive

8:30-9:00 AM Student Ministry (grades 6-12) - The Student Ministry time is for all students in grades 6-12 to gather together and enjoy food, fellowship, and discussion about life and God. This is a great time for students to be fed physically, spiritually, and emotionally.

The Bridge

9:00-10:00 AM Student Ministry hour (grades 6-12) - The Student Ministry hour is a time for all students in grades 6-12 to gather together and enjoy food, fellowship, and discussion about life and God.  This is a great time for students to be fed physically, spiritually, and emotionally.

10:00 AM Worship - This is the worship service for the entire church to attend.

SUNDAY NIGHT
Discipleship Groups - Sunday nights we offer small groups (we call then D-Groups) for students in grades 9-12 that create an atmosphere of safety and community between students and adults.  Each D-Group is arranged by grade, meets in homes, and the environment creates an opportunity for deep discipleship.
Bible Study - Sunday nights we also offer a Bible study for students in grades 10-12 who desire a deeper dive into the very Word of God.  This Bible study rotates between our Meredith Drive and Bridge campuses (1st semester at MD, 2nd semester at the Bridge), and runs from 6:30-7:30pm.

Profession
Profession is a time to take a look at what it means to follow Jesus and to decide if it's time to say, "Yes, I'm going to follow Jesus."

Students have the opportunity to take the next step in their faith journey through a mixture of experiences designed to help grow in understanding God's love for all of us. It includes being in worship regularly, but just as importantly it involves conversations with parents and adult mentors about faith issues, and serving our church and community as Jesus calls us to do.

If you will be a 7th or 8th grader this fall and are interested in participating in Profession contact Pastor Josh DeKok
