The book club will be reading and then discussing The Prisoner in the Third Cell, by Gene Edwards. Imprisoned by Herod, John the Baptist struggles to understand a Lord who did not meet his expectations. This is a dramatic account offering insight into the ways of God. This book is less than 100 pages and is available at the Meredith Drive and The Bridge campus office. You can stop in or call during regular office hours to arrange a pick-up or contact Lunda Wilson at firstname.lastname@example.org. Pizza and drinks will be provided.
Good-bye to Sean Gabrielson, Worship Coordinator at The Bridge
We are very excited, and very sad, to announce that Sean Gabrielson has taken a new position as the Director of Worship for Hope Ankeny. Some of you will remember that Lutheran Church of Hope is Sean’s home church, so this is a homecoming of sorts and will be an amazing opportunity. His last Sunday with us will be June 27th. We’ve been fortunate to have him the last three years, and he’s built foundations that the next person will be able to build upon. Please join us in praying for Sean as he begins his new ministry and that God would send us the right person to lead us in the future.
